We now monitor vets and can notify you via email or API when new blacklist items hit your historic vet data.
Alerts provide monitoring of your key user data. As an example, you vet a user that scores positive on their email, and a few days later that email is added to the community as a phisher, our system can create an alert so you can quickly review the user, revet them if you wish, and take any necessary actions. The E-HAWK Reporting Portal has an updated GUI, many new features, charts and tools. The redesigned Dashboard allows you to quickly spot spikes in risks, area issues, and usage.
Each testing area now includes customized tag scoring charts by impact levels. These are created based on your Custom Scoring settings, so your most critical scoring issues that impacting your business risk levels can be tracked. Clicking on any chart will show all vets associated with the risk.

We have implemented a new algorithm for tracking the real-time movement of IPs across multiple Vets. Our service scores distance velocity between IPs and reports risk levels based on distances. As an example, you can now identify a user who tries to create an account or login from IPs in different locations, and score the risk levels based on the amount the distance changes.
This feature can be very effective for detecting account takeover attempts and devices that are connected to multiple proxies or servers.

The new tagging feature empowers your company to score specific emails, emaildomains, domains, IPs, device fingerprints, and names as good, bad, or to skip scoring.
Items tagged as Bad will add negative scoring to the risk area. Good tags add positive scoring, and Do Not Score will set the item score to zero. Good and Bad scoring is additional to standard area scoring.
To illustrate how tagging works, if you vet IP = 10.1.1.1, the vet will hit “Private or no geo IP” risk and score -10 for IP area. Adding tags of:
– Bad will add -130 to the IP score area, and the IP will now score -140
– Good will add +130 to the IP scoring area, and the IP will now score +120
– Do Not Score will set the IP scoring to 0
This gives you extra control over specific item scoring for emails, emaildomains, domains, IPs, device fingerprints, and names. If you think emails from “xyz.com” are all bad, just tag that emaildomain as Bad, and all vets with that emaildomain will have -130 added into the email score.
Tag details are also returned in the JSON response, so you can track Vets that hit your tags.
Unlike community data that impacts all customer vets, tagged items only impact your account vetting scores and are not shared with anyone. Adding tags is done in the Vet details area. To the right of tag-able items, you will see a drop-down button with tagging options. Just select the tag to add.
The portal has a new tab for managing all your tags. Click on a value to view all Vets that hit that tag.
In the future E-HAWK will provide an API to add, update, and delete tags so you can automate the entire process.

Our domain analysis project is well underway. We are adding close to 1 million new domains every day and building risk profiles for the domain and email domain. With all the new TLDs it is now cheaper to create domains with emails and start the fraud bots going then buying emails on the black market. This new system should help stop fraudsters trying to leverage new domains.
